5d/4n Soft Nature hikes in Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, we will be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, en route we will visit the Moray Terraces, the landscapes are truly impressive.
We will visit the community of Pallata on the 2nd day and Machu Picchu on the 3rd day. On the 4th day we will visit the Perolniyoc waterfall, the ruins of Raqaypata and the community of Soqma. We will end by visiting the Cerveceria del Valle and having lunch and then return to the city of Cusco.
Finally we will get to know some additional attractions in Cusco and surrounding Ruins according to the options that will be indicated.

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley (Moray – Maras – Ollantaytambo)
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco (we suggest an arrival flights in Cusco before 09:00 am), we will be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, en route we will visit the Moray Terraces, the landscapes are impressive. Here we will spend some time to discover the true history of the Inca Agricultural laboratories, then we will continue to the Salineras de Maras, visiting one of the most beautiful and incredible salt mines in South America. You will be able to walk and touch around 5,000 ponds and learn more about salt production. It is important to mention that the salt from this place has been produced here since the time of the Incas, in the same way. From this point we will begin a light walk downhill following the route of the Urubamba River towards the picturesque town of Pichingoto, where our transportation will be waiting for us and then take us to the restaurant and enjoy lunch with some impressive view. Finally we will be driven to our Hotel located in the Inca town of Ollantaytambo.

Day 2: Ollantaytambo Walk to Pumamarca – Ollantaytambo
Very early after breakfast, our guide will meet us at the hotel to drive us to the community of Pallata (20 minutes from Ollantaytambo). From this point we will begin our walk of approximately 2km or an hour and a half. During the hike we will be able to see terraces. agriculture, local houses. The walk is uphill gradually ascending until we reach the ruins of Pumamarca, where we will have a guided visit of the Inca structures, ceremonial buildings, warehouses and enclosures. From here begins the moderate descent along a different trail for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles), taking around two hours, where you will follow ancient aqueducts towards the terraces of Conchapata to be greeted with a Box Lunch. At the end of lunch, return to Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological complex and Living Inca city of Ollantaytambo.

Day 3: Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu – Ollantaytambo
Very early according to the train schedule, we will go to the train station which in a journey of approximately 2 hours takes us to the town of Aguas Calientes from where we will board the bus to the Inka Citadel of Machupicchu, the rest of the morning we will visit the sacred Inca citadel, exploring its main temples and hidden corners. We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch at the famous Machupicchu Sanctuary Lodge Hotel, in its unbeatable location at the entrance to the ruins of the Inca Citadel. In the afternoon, return to the town of Aguas Calientes from where we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Accommodation in the chosen hotel.

Day 4: Ollantaytambo – Perolniyoc Falls – Cerveceria del Valle – Cusco
After breakfast, our transportation will pick us up from the hotel to drive us to the town of Soqma (30 minutes) from where we will begin the walk to the Perolniyoc Falls, which has a drop of approximately 100 meters forming a veil of pure and crystalline water, surrounded by of abundant vegetation within an Andean landscape. After having enjoyed this scenic setting, we will continue the walk to the ruins of Raqaypata located at the top of the mountain at 3,560 meters above sea level. from where the waterfall originates. This place was used as a
granary/warehouse and administrative place during the Inca period; You can also see a set of sophisticated hydraulic systems for agriculture that are still in operation today. Once we have visited this place we will begin the descent towards the Community of Soqma where the transport will be waiting for us to take us to the Cervecería del Valle, where we will briefly have an explanation about the artisanal production of Beer and finally taste our lunch. In the afternoon we will drive to the city of Cusco. Accommodation in the chosen hotel.

Day 5: Cusco: Visit to the city of Cusco and surrounding ruins or alternatively hike to the ruins of Ikilltambo.
Option 1:
Early in the morning pick up from your hotel to begin the guided tour of the Cusco Cathedral and the Qoricancha temple. At the end of the visit we will be transferred to the outskirts of Cusco to begin the guided tour of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay and PucaPucara.
Option 2:
Early in the morning pick up from your hotel to begin the guided tour of the Cusco Cathedral and the Qoricancha temple. At the end of the visit we will be transferred to the outskirts of Cusco to begin the Walk to Ikilltambo.
In the afternoon, according to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport.
